Using the budget tracker

The budget tracker gives you a real-time view of your total wedding spend, broken down by vendor and category.

Setting your total budget

Go to Budget in your dashboard and enter your total budget. Sparrow uses this to calculate how much you have left as you add vendors.

Adding budget items

• •Each vendor booking automatically creates a budget line item
• •You can also add manual items for non-vendor expenses (e.g., wedding rings, honeymoon)
• •Set estimated and actual amounts for each item

Tracking payments

As you confirm deposits and final payments, mark them in the budget tracker. Your running total updates in real time so you always know where you stand.

Budget summary

The top of the budget page shows total budget, amount committed, amount paid, and remaining balance at a glance.
