How bookings work on Sparrow
Last updated May 2026 · 3 min read
A booking is a confirmed agreement between a couple and a vendor for a specific service on a specific date.
The booking flow
- •Couple sends a booking request to a vendor
- •Vendor reviews the request and accepts, declines, or proposes changes
- •Both parties confirm — booking is active
- •Couple and vendor communicate through the booking thread
- •Vendor sends invoice(s) through the booking
- •Booking is marked complete after the event
The booking thread
Every booking has a dedicated thread where both parties can message each other, share files, and track invoices. This keeps all communication related to a booking in one place.
Notifications
Both parties receive notifications for every significant booking action — new requests, confirmations, invoice sent, payment confirmed, and cancellations.
